During the week of May 9 – 17, 2009, Winnipeg will welcome 500 brilliant young minds from across the country for Canada Wide Science Fair 2009.  CWSF 2009 participants will call the University of Manitoba campus home for the week. Situated in Winnipeg, the University of Manitoba is a short walk to many of the activities, as well as excellent shopping and
dining opportunities. During the week you will explore the city, and get up close and personal with the many cultural, social, scientific and sporting activities that Manitoba has to offer. Get involved and experience the wide range of hands on activities/workshops on campus, presented for your enrichment and enjoyment. Discover the famous Lower Fort Gary
– National Historic Site, take in the popular Marine Museum, witness thousands of red-sided garter snakes at the world’s famous Narcisse site, or get in tune with nature while hiking, bird watching, canoeing, and offshore fishing in Fort Whyte Alive.
